Conditions of carriage for cab services operated under the PALAMAU YATRA brand in Jharkhand, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh.
1. Booking & Confirmation
A booking request submitted on PALAMAU YATRA generates an instant unique Booking Code. The dispatch desk verifies vehicle availability and sends confirmed driver contact details prior to departure. Passengers are requested to be ready at the scheduled doorstep pickup location at the confirmed time.
2. Seating & Luggage Capacity
In compliance with Motor Vehicle Act (MVA) safety regulations, passenger headcount must not exceed the vehicle's registered seating capacity (Hatchback/Sedan: max 4 passengers + driver; Ertiga/Innova: max 6–7 passengers + driver; Tempo Traveller: 12 to 26 passengers). Overloading is strictly prohibited.
3. Luggage Guidelines
Standard luggage allowance corresponds to standard vehicle trunk volume. Carriage of hazardous, flammable, contraband, or illegal substances is strictly forbidden by Indian law.
4. Safe Travel Code of Conduct
Passengers are requested to treat chauffeurs with dignity. Consuming alcohol or smoking inside commercial vehicles is strictly prohibited. Drivers possess full authority to halt the vehicle or contact local law enforcement in the event of unruly conduct.
5. Jurisdiction
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising under or relating to this agreement shall be governed by the laws of India and subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the civil courts at Medininagar (Daltonganj), Palamu, Jharkhand.
